JERUSALEM, April 19, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday overnight detained 11 Palestinians, including a girl and two minors, and summoned three others during predawn raids into a number of West Bank districts, said two local activists and medics said.
Four Palestinians were detained from Jerusalem, three others from Bethlehem, two others from Hebron and two others from Qalqilia.
In Jerusalem district, Israeli police detained two Palestinians from al-Sa‘diyya neighborhood in Jerusalem’s Old City. The detainees were identified as Mahmoud Mona and Ahmad Mona.
This came after Israeli forces detained two Palestinian minors during clashes in al-Ram town, north of Jerusalem.
WAFA correspondent identified the minors as Fu’ad al-Ja‘bari, 15, and Loai al-Qadi, 16.
Palestinian Read Crescent medics said that al-Ja‘bari was detained after being shot and injured with a live round in the thigh.
To the south of Jerusalem, in Bethlehem district, forces detained three Palestinians during predawn raids into al-Khader and Beit Fajjar towns, south of Bethlehem.
Coordinator of Anti-Wall and Settlement Committee Ahmad Salah said that forces detained Majd Atwan, 22, after breaking into and ransacking her family house in al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.
The two other detainees were identified as Murad Taqatqa, 31, and Walid Taqatqa, 30, from Beit Fajjar town.
Meanwhile, forces detained two Palestinians from the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
The detainees were identified as Eyad Abu-Sneineh and Ibrahim Abu-Rumuz, 36.
Forces also stormed and tampered with the contents of several houses in Sa‘ir town, northeast of Hebron. One house owner was identified as Yasser al-Ma,tur.
Meanwhile in Qalqilia district, forces detained two Palestinians during a predawn raid into Kafr Qaddum village, northeast of Qalqilia.
Local Coordinator of Popular Resistance Committee Murad Ishtewi identified the detainees as Ahmad Aqel, 20, and Ayman Barham, 36.
During the raid, forces handed Osama Ubeid, a former detainee, Majed Jum‘a, and his son, who remained unidentified, notices ordering them to appear before intelligence.
