Israeli colonists attack residents in Kisan, east of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, July 25, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian residents today in the village of Kisan, located east of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, according to local sources.

Mousa Ebayyat, head of the Kisan Village Council, told WAFA that colonists stormed the Deir Alla area in the Kisan wilderness, vandalized homes, destroyed solar panels and the local water network, and looted several belongings. Ten families were forcibly displaced as a result of the attack.

Ebayyat noted that colonists have recently escalated their violence in Kisan and surrounding areas. Recent assaults have included the burning of homes and tents, seizure of livestock, and repeated attempts to drive Palestinians off their land.
