GAZA, July 25, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Friday following Israeli airstrikes targeting shelters housing displaced people in Gaza City and Khan Younis.
According to WAFA correspondent, an Israeli drone strike hit a tent sheltering displaced civilians at the Al-Rimal School in western Gaza City, killing one person and injuring several others.
In a separate incident, another civilian was killed and others were wounded when Israeli forces bombed a tent housing displaced people near the Al-Maslakh area in western Khan Younis.
In addition to the aerial strikes, Israeli naval boats fired several shells toward the Gaza City coastline, while intense artillery shelling was reported in the neighborhoods of Al-Zaytoun, Shujaiyya, and Al-Tuffah east of Gaza City.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 59,587 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 143,498 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
