HEBRON, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinians on Thursday following confrontations that erupted as local residents confronted an attack by Israeli settlers in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
According to media activist Mohammad Awad, the violence began when a group of armed Israeli settlers, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked Palestinian farmers with stones while they were working on their land in the Wadi al-Sheikh area, east of the town near Jabal Wardan.
Awad reported that confrontations broke out between the town's residents and the settlers, during which the Israeli army detained two Palestinians.
