JERUSAELM, March 20, 2014 (WAFA) –
Palestinian worshippers managed on Thursday to expel Israeli right-wing MK
Moshe Feiglin and other settlers out of Al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards, according to
witnesses.
Israeli extremist settlers, led by the
right-wing MK Moshe Feiglin, broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound via the
Moroccan Gate under the protection of Israeli police special units.
Among the group who entered the Al-Aqsa
Mosque were extremist Jewish settlers in solidarity with the radical Rabbi,
Yehuda Glick, who had been banned by Israeli police from entering the mosque
for a ten-day period for not “committing to the terms of visits to the mosque”.
According to witnesses, Feiglin insulted
worshipers, using racist expressions, which led to clashes and the arrest of several
Palestinian worshipers.
