RAMALLAH, October 6, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Presidency condemned today the brutal attacks targeting the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—its security and stability—as well as the terrorist attacks directed at the holy sites in Makkah and Madinah. It affirmed its absolute rejection of any violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites or threats to the safety of citizens, residents, and Umrah pilgrims in the Kingdom.

The Presidency emphasized that targeting Saudi territory, particularly the holy sites, constitutes a grave assault on the sanctity of Islamic holy places and an unacceptable escalation that threatens regional security and stability, while contravening religious and humanitarian values ​​and principles as well as international law.

It stressed that the State of Palestine—leadership and people—stands with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, affirming its full solidarity with the Kingdom in confronting any threats to its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The Presidency expressed its wishes for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people to enjoy continued security, stability, and prosperity under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, reiterating the State of Palestine's support for the Kingdom in facing any threats to its security, sovereignty, and holy sites.
