RAMALLAH, October 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Friday assaulted olive harvesters and a solidarity activist in the Kafr Malik town and the al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, according to local sources.
They reported that colonists attacked a solidarity activist while the latter was supporting olive pickers in Kafr Malik.
In al-Mughayyir, colonists attacked olive harvesters near the homes of the Jabr family in the village's plain and opened live fire towards Palestinian homes.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
