Palestinian sustains injury due to colonist attack near Nablus

NABLUS, October 30, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man on Friday sustained an injury due to a colonist attack in the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli colonists stormed the town and physically assaulted a 36-year-old man.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said its crews treated the man who was injured after being beaten and falling from a height.

Meanwhile, colonists intercepted and attempted to physically assault a family in the al-Mas'udiya area, northwest of Nablus.

They attacked a house in the Yasid village, north of Nablus, attempting to smash its door, and stole a cart belonging to a vehicle parked nearby.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
