Israeli forces detain four Palestinians from Tulkarm governorate

TULKARM, October 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on dawn Friday detained four Palestinians from the towns of Kafr Sur and Kafr Abbush, south of Tulkarm, according to local sources.

They said that the occupation forces rounded up three people, including a former prisoner, from Kafr Abbush and another Kafr Sur.

Meanwhile, the occupation forces barged their way into Jospeh’s Tomb and a house in the eastern part of Nablus.

They conducted a similar raid in the village of Burin, south of Nablus, ransacking several homes and turning their contents upside down.

In the Bethlehem governorate, a convoy of army vehicles stormed the Tuqu‘ and Za'tara towns, where soldiers broke into two homes.

The sources confirmed similar raids in the villages of Rafeida and Beit Ta'mar, east of Bethlehem, but the soldiers did not break into any home nor detain any person.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted without a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping, arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
