RAMALLAH, October 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists and occupation forces on Friday carried out a series of attacks against Palestinian olive harvesters across the occupied West Bank.
In the Salfit governorate, colonists assaulted olive pickers in the al-Wadat area, north of Bruqin town, and forced them to leave their land. Local sources said that colonists beat one of the farmers, who was subsequently transferred to Salfit Governmental Hospital. They vandalized farmers’ vehicles.
In the Hebron governorate, colonists stormed Palestinian olive groves in the Sahlat Ma'in area of Masafer Yatta, and torched an agricultural structure, destroying the equipment and agricultural supplies inside, according to activist Osama Makhammara.
In a separate incident, armed colonists attacked farmers in the Tawas area, west of Dura, and prevented them from picking olives.
In the Bethlehem governorate, the occupation forces assaulted farmers and foreign solidarity activists while picking olives in Abu Njeim village, southeast of Bethlehem, forcing them to leave their land at gunpoint. Security sources told WAFA that the gun-toting soldiers detained three farmers.
In the northern part of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus, colonists attacked farmers, preventing them from collecting olives and forcing them to leave their land.
Meanwhile, the occupation troops forced over 30 olive pickers to leave their lands in the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, at gunpoint. Local sources said soldiers unleashed barrages of stun grenades and chased olive pickers in areas south and east of the village, forcing them to leave lands located only tens of meters from the village homes.
