RAMALLAH, July 30, 2026 (WAFA) — Canada condemned the escalating violence carried out by Israeli colonists in the occupied West Bank.

In a post on X on Wednesday evening, Canada's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "Canada condemns the ongoing violence in the West Bank. The expansion of Israeli settlements in the West Bank must stop. These settlements are illegal under international law."

According to UN figures, 18 Palestinians have been killed in colonist attacks since the beginning of this year, compared to 17 for all of 2025.
