RAMALLAH, March 25, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) has issued a report on the Construction Cost Index (CCI), Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank during February, 2026/02
Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank reached 118.48 with a decrease of 0.23% during February 2026 compared with January 2026 (base year 2013=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of raw material decreased by 0.40%. While, the prices of rental of equipment increased by 0.12%. At the same time, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during February 2026 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings in the West Bank reached 117.46 with a decrease of 0.14% during February 2026 compared with January 2026 (base year 2013=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of raw material decreased by 0.24%. While, the prices of rental of equipment increased by 0.12%. At the same time, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during February 2026 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings in the West Bank reached 115.05 with a decrease of 0.67% during February 2026 compared with January 2026 (Base year 2013=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of raw material decreased by 1.09%. While, the prices of rental of equipment increased by 0.12%. At the same time, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during February 2026 compared with the previous month.
Slight decrease in the Road Cost Index (RCI)
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) in the West Bank reached 111.84 with a slight decrease of 0.08% during February 2026 compared with January 2026 (Base month December 2008=100).
At the level of major groups, the prices of raw material decreased by 0.23%. While, the prices of operating costs of equipment and maintenance increased by 1.07%, and the prices of rental of equipment increased by 0.16%. At the same time, the prices of the labour costs and wages remained stable during February 2026 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) in the West Bank reached 124.70 with a decrease of 0.37% during February 2026 compared with January 2026 (Base month January 2010=100).
Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 111.69 with a decrease of 0.88%, and Water Networks Cost Index reached 130.61 with a decrease of 0.17% during February 2026 compared with January 2026.
Slight increase in the Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI)
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank reached 113.35 with a slight increase of 0.08% during February 2026 compared with January 2026 (Base month January 2010=100).
