JENIN, October 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Saturday installed two iron gates to restrict Palestinian movement at the main entrance to the village of Marka, south of Jenin, and on the Jenin-Nablus road near Arraba Station.
Local sources told WAFA that the forces closed the Jenin-Nablus road near Arraba Station and installed an iron gate to impede Palestinian traffic. They also installed another gate at the main entrance to Marka, further restricting traffic.
The sources added that the forces set up a military checkpoint on Haifa Street in Jenin city, where they checked Palestinians' identity cards, causing further disruption to traffic and movement.
