HEBRON, October 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians suffocated on Friday evening due to Israeli army tear gas canisters in the Beit Ummar town, south of Hebron, according to local sources.
They said that Israeli occupation forces raided the town and unleashed barrages of tear gas canisters, causing several residents to suffocate.
The gun-toting soldiers barged their way into the al-Fawwar refugee camp, closed several stores near the camp entrance, and prevented residents from moving around.
