RAMALLAH, October 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists set fire to dozens of olive trees in the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah, on Friday morning.
Head of the Burqa village council, Sayel Kanaan, told WAFA that colonists burned and cut down dozens of fruit-bearing olive trees in the al-Qibla area south of the village.
He added that civil defense teams and local citizens were unable to reach the area due to restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation forces and the heavy presence of colonists.
