RAMALLAH, March 25, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the country will be affected by a low-pressure system accompanied by a cold air mass. The weather will be generally cloudy and cold to very cold, with rain showers expected in most areas, becoming heavy at times and accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail. Winds will be southwesterly to westerly, moderate to brisk. Sea waves will be moderate to high.

On Thursday, the country will continue to be affected by the low-pressure system, with a noticeable drop in temperatures. The weather will be generally cloudy and cold to very cold. Showers are expected in most areas, becoming heavy at times and accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail. Winds will be moderate to brisk, occasionally gusty, from the southwest to northwest, reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h. Sea waves will be high.

The PMD warned during the period when the country was affected by the low-pressure system of the risk of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, reduced horizontal visibility, slippery roads, strong winds, and high sea waves.
