BEIRUT, March 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Lebanese media said that the Israeli army ordered residents of southern Lebanon to immediately head north of the Litani River.
Israeli warplanes also launched heavy airstrikes on various areas in Lebanon, resulting in deaths, injuries, and the destruction of dozens of buildings and infrastructure.
Israeli warplanes targeted the city of Baalbek and the towns of Buday and Shamshtar in the Bekaa Valley, where the airstrikes resulted in eight deaths and several injuries.
Israeli warplanes also launched airstrikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut, the towns of Aramoun, Hazmieh, and Saadiyat in Mount Lebanon, and the towns of Beit Leef, Tayr Falsay, Majadel, Houla, Shaqra, Jmeijmeh, Safad al-Batikh, and Zrarieh in southern Lebanon.
