BETHLEHEM, November 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished an inhabited house today, Monday, in the village of Umm Salamuna, south of Bethlehem.

Mahmoud Taqatqa, an activist involved in the resistance against the separation wall and settlements, told our correspondent that the occupation forces demolished a single-story house, measuring 150 square meters in total, belonging to a local resident named Nader Abu Shaqra. Neither he nor his family members were present at the time of the demolition.

He added that the house had not previously been issued a demolition notice; its destruction came as a surprise. It is worth noting that the occupation forces have previously issued demolition notices for more than 17 other houses in the village.
