RAMALLAH, December 22, 2025 (WAFA) - The trade balance, which represents the difference between exports and imports, showed an increase in trade deficit by 21% in October 2025 compared to October 2024 and reached $475.7 Million, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
In a statement, PCBS reported that exports increased by 37% in October 2025 compared to October 2024, reaching $168.7 Million.
Exports to Israel increased by 53% in October 2025 compared to October 2024, representing 87% of total exports in October 2025.
On the other hand, exports to other countries decreased by 19% during the same period compared to October, 2024.
Imports increased by 25% in October 2025 compared to October 2024, reaching $644.4 Million.
Imports from Israel increased by 31% in October 2025 compared to October 2024, representing 62% of total imports in October 2025.
At the same time, imports from other countries increased by 16% compared to October, 2024.
