GAZA, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian-American Bridge Foundation (PAB), in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO), delivered 120 heart stents to the Gaza Strip for the first time. This initiative aims to enhance the capacity of health facilities to provide urgent cardiac care services.

The stents and accompanying medical equipment were delivered to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society at Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City to support cardiac catheterization procedures for patients requiring urgent intervention.

The handover was attended by PAB Director Ihab Sweidan and Project Coordinator Mohammed Harara, and they were received by Palestinian Red Crescent Society Director Haider Al-Qudra and Al-Quds Hospital Director Anwar Al-Gharra.

The Foundation affirmed that this donation is part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the Palestinian health system and strengthening its ability to respond to increasing medical needs amidst the difficult humanitarian conditions.
