Weather: Partially cloudy skies, relatively cold conditions

RAMALLAH, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected for Monday, with relatively cold to cold temperatures and a further drop in temperatures. There remains a slight chance of light rain in some areas of the country. Winds will be light to moderate southwesterly. Sea waves will be moderately high.

In the evening and night, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and cold, especially over the mountainous areas, with a slight chance of light rain in some areas. Winds will be moderate southwesterly to westerly. Sea waves will be moderately high.

Tomorrow's weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold, with no change in temperatures. There is a chance of scattered rain in some areas. Winds will be light to moderate southwesterly to westerly. Sea waves will be moderately high.

On Wednesday, the country will be affected by a low-pressure cold front accompanied by a cold air mass. A noticeable drop in temperatures is expected, with showers falling across most areas. These showers will be heavy at times and accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail. Winds will be active, blowing from the southwest to west, with strong gusts reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h. Sea waves will be high.

On Thursday, the low-pressure cold front will intensify, bringing a further drop in temperatures. The weather will be cold, rainy, and windy. Rain is expected across all regions, becoming heavy at times and accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail. Winds will be active, blowing from the southwest to west. Sea waves will be high.

PMD warned of the risk of slippery roads and reduced horizontal visibility on Monday and Tuesday.
