RAMALLAH, December 3, 2025 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Interior (MoI) and the Italian Ministry of Defence on Wednesday renewed the technical cooperation agreement on training the Palestinian Security Forces (PASF).

The agreement, concerned with the provision of training to PASF in cooperation with the Italian Carabinieri team operating in Palestine, was signed in the presence of the Italian Consul General to Jerusalem, Domenico Bellato.

Signed by the Security Assistant to the Minister of Interior, Major General Mohammad Jabrini, and General Andrea Torzani, the agreement provides for providing basic and advanced training for the PASF affiliates in areas including community policing, emergency techniques, public order management, and cultural heritage protection.

The signing of the agreement marks not only a milestone in the efforts aimed at strengthening the partnership between the MoI and the Italian Carabinieri, but also forms an integral part of the MoI’s commitment to developing the capacities and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the PASF affiliates.
