14 Palestinians killed, including 5 children, in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

GAZA, June 27, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 14 Palestinians, including five children, were killed and several others injured today as Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes targeting northern areas of the Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that at least eight people, among them five children, were killed in a massacre after Israeli fighter jets bombed the Osama Bin Zaid School, which was sheltering displaced civilians in the al-Saftawi district, northwest of Gaza City. The attack left behind charred and dismembered bodies, including that of an infant, and caused widespread destruction at the site.

Meantime, medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital confirmed that six more people were killed in a separate Israeli strike targeting a group of civilians in Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

These attacks follow an earlier airstrike today that killed 10 people near the Shaaban Al-Rayyes School in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The victims were transported to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 54,249 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 123,492 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
