Jenin, August 26, 2026 (WAFA) - Israeli colonists on Wednesday evening vandalized the contents of a home under construction in Deir Abu Da'if, east of Jenin, according to local sources.
They said that colonists broke into a home belonging to the Abu al-Ragheb Mahamid family, located in an area between Jalbun and Deir Abu Da'if, before smashing the home’s ceramic tiles and stealing water and electricity motors.
They added that the vandals cut down several olive trees surrounding the home.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
