RAMALLAH, May 26, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the country will be deeply affected by a hot and dry air mass on Monday, resulting in the weather remaining extremely hot, dry, and dusty at times. Temperatures will rise significantly, reaching approximately 10 degrees Celsius above their annual average. Winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate, sometimes active. Sea waves will be light to moderate.
In the evening and night hours, the weather will be clear and pleasant in most areas. Winds will be northeasterly to southeasterly, light to moderate, and the sea will be light to moderate.
Tomorrow, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear and moderate in most areas of the country. Temperatures will drop significantly, reaching around their annual average. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, moderate to active. Sea waves will be light to medium.
On Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear and moderate in most areas of the country. Temperatures will remain around their annual average. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, moderate to brisk. Sea waves will be light to medium.
Thursday's weather will be partly cloudy to clear and moderate in most areas. Temperatures will remain around their annual average. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate. Sea waves will be light to medium.
The PMD warned people against the danger of prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during peak hours, and of starting fires in areas with abundant dry grass.
