RAMALLAH, October 5, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts that the weather today, Monday, will be generally partly cloudy and mild in most areas. Temperatures will drop to around the annual average. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea conditions will range from slight to moderate.
During the evening and night, the weather will be partly cloudy and relatively cold in mountainous areas, while remaining mild elsewhere. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea conditions will range from slight to moderate.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, the weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy. Starting in the early morning, scattered showers are expected across most areas, particularly in the east and south; the chance of rain will diminish during the evening and night. Temperatures will drop further, falling about two degrees Celsius below the annual average. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate but occasionally active, and sea conditions will be moderate.
On Wednesday, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear and mild in most areas. Temperatures will rise slightly, becoming just above the annual average. Winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea conditions will range from slight to moderate. On Thursday, the weather will be partly cloudy to clear and mild across most regions. Temperatures will rise further, reaching approximately 3°C above the seasonal average. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea conditions will range from slight to moderate.
The PMD issued a warning for Tuesday regarding the risk of flash floods and inundation in valleys and low-lying areas—particularly in the south and east—as well as the danger of vehicle skidding on roads in areas experiencing rainfall.
