GAZA, April 24, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources reported that the Martyr Mohammed al-Durrah Children's Hospital east of Gaza City has been put out of service.
The hospital was put out of service due to the extensive damage it sustained two days ago after being targeted by the Israeli occupation forces. The bombing damaged the intensive care unit, and the occupation forces also deliberately bombed the hospital's alternative energy panels.
Medical sources confirmed that the continued blockade of food and medicine supplies indicates that the children of the Gaza Strip are facing a dangerous and catastrophic situation.
With the closure of the Martyr Mohammed al-Durrah Hospital, the number of hospitals that have been put out of service since the start of the aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has risen to 37.
