GAZA, April 1, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli military issued forcible eviction orders on Tuesday for residents in new areas of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip, shortly after issuing similar threats for areas in the northern part of the region.

A spokesperson for the Israeli military released a statement demanding residents of Rafah to leave specific areas, including the neighborhoods of al-Nasr and Sawka, Al-Salam, Al-Manara, and Qizan Al-Najjar.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli military had issued a similar warning for residents in northern Gaza, ordering them to leave their homes and move to designated shelters.

Yesterday, the Palestinian Presidency strongly warned about the recent Israeli orders for the forced evacuation of the entire city of Rafah.

In a statement, the Presidency condemned the Israeli displacement orders as illegal and a clear violation of international law, holding the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the escalation, which will not bring security or stability to anyone.
