RAMALLAH, July 13, 2026 (WAFA) - Israeli colonists carried out separate attacks on Monday morning against the villages of Burqa and al-Mughayyir, east of Ramallah, attempting to steal sheep and causing damage to agricultural crops.
In Burqa, local sources said a group of colonists attacked the outskirts of the village and raided a sheep pen in an attempt to steal several sheep. Residents confronted the colonists and prevented the theft.
In al-Mughayyir, colonists released their livestock onto Palestinian-owned agricultural land, where they grazed their sheep, damaging several crops.
On Saturday, several Palestinians were injured by live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters during an attack by Israeli occupation forces and colonists on a house in al-Mughayyir.
