RAMALLAH, July 13, 2026 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces set up a flying military checkpoint on Monday morning near the village of Ras Karkar, northwest of Ramallah, according to local sources.
Sources said Israeli forces set up the checkpoint in the Ein Ayoub area, stopped Palestinian-registered vehicles and checked passengers' identity cards. No detentions were reported.
According to a report issued by the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, the number of military checkpoints and gates across the occupied Palestinian Territory has exceeded 916, including 243 gates installed since October 7, 2023.
