NABLUS, August 28, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists dressed in military uniforms prevented Palestinians from reaching two mosques in Khirbet Tana, east of the town of Beit Furik, near Nablus, to perform Friday prayers, according to local sources.
The sources said a group of colonists wearing Israeli military uniforms raided the eastern outskirts of Beit Furik and blocked Palestinians from heading to al-Wali and al-Hajj Hussein mosques in Khirbet Tana.
Khirbet Tana, an isolated Palestinian community in the eastern Nablus countryside, has long faced repeated attacks, access restrictions, and pressure from Israeli colonists and occupation forces. Citizens have also faced demolitions and restrictions affecting their homes, agricultural land, livestock and access to basic services.
