Palestine offers condolences to Nepal and China over flood victims

 

RAMALLAH, August 28, 2026 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates extended its sincere condolences and expressed solidarity with the friendly Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal and the friendly People’s Republic of China over the victims of floods that have caused a large number of casualties, injuries, and missing persons, as well as extensive damage to homes, infrastructure, and property.

The Ministry extended its deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the victims, wished a speedy recovery to the injured, and expressed hope for the safety of those missing. It further expressed hope that search and rescue efforts would succeed in locating them and mitigating the effects of the disaster.

The Ministry affirmed the State of Palestine’s full solidarity with Nepal and China during this difficult time, expressing hope that they would overcome this ordeal, contain its repercussions, and ensure that the affected areas recover as quickly as possible.
