RAMALLAH, August 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were injured on Friday night by Israeli army gunfire while fending off a raid by colonists on the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, according to local sources.
The sources reported that the two Palestinians sustained live-bullet wounds to their legs after Israeli soldiers, who were providing cover for the colonists, opened fire during the raid on the western area of Al-Mughayyir village, where the colonists attempted to steal livestock.
The sources added that the colonists opened fire on the sheep, injuring two of them, after the intervention of Al-Mughayyir residents thwarted the attempted theft.
Israeli forces raided the village and prevented ambulances from transporting the injured for medical treatment.
In a later development, the colonists renewed their attack on Palestinian homes in the village under the protection of Israeli forces, amid heavy live gunfire.
