JENIN, July 13, 2026 (WAFA) - Israeli forces detained five Palestinians on Monday during raids in Jenin, Nablus and Ramallah districts, while conducting field interrogations of dozens of residents in Jenin.
In Jenin district, Israeli forces detained two Palestinians from the villages of Deir Abu Da'if and Meithalun, and raided the town of Jaba, where they carried out field interrogations.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Da'if at dawn, stormed several homes and detained a Palestinian resident after causing damage inside his home.
The forces also raided an agricultural supplies shop and a supermarket owned by the resident, searched both premises, and detained him. This marked the second time he had been detained within a month.
Israeli forces detained another Palestinian, 64, after raiding and searching his home in Meithalun.
In Jaba, a large Israeli military force raided the town for eight hours, storming dozens of homes and a mosque. The forces turned a café in the center of the town into a field interrogation center, where they held dozens of young Palestinian men, including mosque imams, before withdrawing without reporting any detentions.
In another incident in Jenin district, Israeli occupation forces detained a young Palestinian man from al-Zababdeh town, southeast of Jenin.
Local sources said that several Israeli military vehicles raided the main street in the center of the town and detained the young man while he was working at a commercial stall, under the pretext of filming.
In Nablus district, Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian from Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.
Local sources said that Israeli forces raided the camp, stormed and searched several homes, tampered with their contents, and detained a Palestinian resident.
In Ramallah district, Israeli forces detained a young Palestinian man from Kafr Malik town, east of Ramallah.
Local sources said that Israeli forces detained the young man after raiding and searching his home in the town.
