GAZA, January 16, 2025 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
According to WAFA correspondent, the Israeli military struck the home of Mohammad Al-Qarm near the Tareq Bin Ziyad Mosque. The attack resulted in the killing of Ahmad Yasser Al-Qarm and Bassam Haitham Al-Batniji.
Medical sources reported that the death toll in Gaza has risen to 77 since the announcement of the ceasefire agreement, including 21 children and 25 women. The agreement is scheduled to take effect on Sunday.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 46,788 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 110,453 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
