NABLUS, November 14, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained on Thursday a Palestinian young man and assaulted four other citizens in the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus.
The head of Burqa village council, Ziad Ezzedine, told WAFA that the occupation forces detained Nidal Hikmat Saif after raiding a house in the village and assaulting four other citizens.
He added that the occupation soldiers continue to storm the village for the second day in a row, as they practice acts of violence inside the village, and force shop owners to close their shops, all while intercepting some vehicles and seizing their keys.
Ezzedine pointed out that the occupation forces have been present since the morning hours on the Nablus-Jenin road opposite the entrance to Burqa village and are preventing vehicles from passing.
