RAMALLAH, Tuesday, May 21, 2024 (WAFA) – Prime Minister, Mohammed Mustafa, warned tonight of the occupation's plans to target refugee camps in the occupied Palestinian Territory as part of its policy of liquidating the cause of Palestinian refugees and targeting the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

Mustafa gave instructions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the representatives of the State of Palestine at international organizations and countries of the world to exert further diplomatic efforts to expose the crimes of the occupation and pressure it to stop the aggression it is committing against the Palestinian people.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with all representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Palestine and international organizations tomorrow, Wednesday, to inform them of the seriousness of the situation on the ground and the need for urgent action by their countries to exert pressure toward ending the violations of the occupation.

The premier’s statement came in response to the Israeli relentless onslaught on the city of Jenin, which has been ongoing since the early morning hours today. The onslaught led to a massive destruction of infrastructure, and the killing of seven civilians, including a doctor, a teacher, and a school student, and the injury of dozens of others.
