RAMALLAH, Tuesday, May 21, 2021 (WAFA) -  The Head of Mission of EUPOL COPPS, Karin Limdal, met today with the Palestinian Attorney General, Akram al-Khateeb, in Ramallah, where they discussed areas of cooperation between EUPOL COPPS and the Attorney General Office.

While recognizing the extremely difficult situation the Palestinian prosecutors are currently operating under, the two sides were pleased to identify several areas of cooperation that have been intensified in the last few months, including police-prosecution cooperation in the framework of the Mission’s Implementation Group (MIG) and the Bethlehem Pilot Project, the female prosecutor’s network and delivery of training and equipment by the Mission.

They also discussed plans for the way forward for Gaza, with Limdal affirming and offering the Missions’ support in this regard.
