RAMALLAH, Monday, May 20, 2024 (WAFA) - Hussein al-Sheikh, the Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), met with the US National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, and discussed the necessity of stopping the war immediately in the Gaza Strip and forcing Israel to open all crossings to bring in food and medicine.

According to a post on the PLO official’s X account, the two also discussed halting Israeli measures in the West Bank, including colonial activities and attacks, incursions, and confiscation of the PA funds by the Israeli occupation.

“There is no alternative to a comprehensive political solution that ends the occupation and leads to the establishment of a Palestinian state in accordance with international legitimacy,” said the post.
