GAZA, Monday, May 20, 2024 (WAFA) - Several civilians were killed and others were injured this evening in an Israeli occupation shelling of the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.
Local sources reported that three civilians were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted the Abu Azzoum family house in the center of Rafah. Others were also injured in an air raid that targeted the home of the Tabasi family north of Rafah.
The Israeli occupation has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which has so far resulted in the killing of 35,562 citizens, mostly children and women, and the injury of 79,652 others.
Thousands of victims are still trapped under the rubble.
Casualty data in Gaza are incomplete due to the intensive Israeli aggression, the repeated and complete interruption of communication and internet services, lack of fuel and devastated infrastructure, which render it difficult to document figures.
