RAMALLAH, September 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists stormed on Wednesday the town of Sarda, north of Ramallah.
Local sources told WAFA that a group of colonists raided the town and set up a sign with Hebrew inscriptions at the town’s intersection. Staff from the al-Bireh Municipality later removed the sign.
The West Bank has witnessed an escalation in colonist attacks against Palestinians and their property, including raids on towns and villages and assaults on residents, vehicles and property, under the protection of Israeli forces.
Last month, colonists carried out 628 attacks across the West Bank last month, including 157 in the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, 137 in Nablus, 120 in Hebron, 73 in Bethlehem, 40 in Tubas, 36 in Jenin, and 31 in Jerusalem.
