GAZA, September 10, 2026 (WAFA) – Several injured Palestinians arrived at al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, in the early hours of Thursday after Israeli forces opened fire from military vehicles and a drone at shelters and tents housing displaced Palestinians in Jabalia refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli warplanes also carried out an airstrike in the vicinity of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the camp.
Medical sources said on Wednesday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 73,669, with the majority of those killed being children and women, since the start of Israel’s offensive on October 7, 2023.
They added that the number of injured had risen to 174,652, noting that many victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, where ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
The sources said Gaza hospitals received the bodies of seven Palestinians over the past 24 hours, including two newly killed Palestinians and one who succumbed to previous injuries. The bodies of four other Palestinians were also recovered, while 25 people were injured.
