GAZA, September 10, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation helicopters opened fire after midnight on Thursday in the vicinity of Jabalia refugee camp, north of the Gaza Strip, amid artillery shelling targeting areas across the northern Strip.
Meanwhile, medical sources stated on Wednesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,669 since October 7, 2023, with women and children making up the majority of the casualties. According to the sources, the total number of injuries has also climbed to 174,652 over the same period.
Several victims remain trapped under rubble and along roadways, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
The sources said that seven fatalities were brought to Gaza hospitals over the past 24 hours. These included two individuals killed in recent strikes and one citizen who succumbed to previously sustained wounds.
Additionally, the bodies of four other victims were recovered, and 25 people were reported injured.
