JENIN, September 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Wednesday began demolishing multiple commercial and agricultural structures and greenhouses near the entrance to the village of Arrana, northeast of Jenin.

Arrana Village Council Chairman Mahmoud al-Saadi told WAFA that Israeli troops began demolishing structures whose owners had previously been issued demolition notices on September 3.

He said around 16 structures had received demolition notices, including commercial shops, agricultural rooms and greenhouses. He added that the exact number of structures demolished so far could not yet be determined, as the demolition operation was still ongoing.

Al-Saadi said the demolitions are targeting structures that provide a source of livelihood for dozens of families.
