GAZA, Sunday, May 19, 2024 (WAFA) - Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes tonight targeting various locations in the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.
The sources reported that the Israeli fighter jets targeted multiple sites in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. In addition, strikes were reported along the coastlines of Nuseirat refugee camp and the town of Zawaida in the central region of the enclave.
Israeli airstrikes also targeted the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, as the Israeli occupation army continues its invasion of the camp for the second week in a row.
According to the latest figures, the ongoing Israeli military onslaught on Gaza since October 7 has killed at least 35,456 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.
Additionally, 79,476 individuals have been injured, with thousands still believed to be trapped under the rubble.
