MUSCAT, Tuesday, May 7, 2024 (WAFA) – Oman has expressed deep concern over the continued military escalation by the Israeli occupation forces and the war crimes and genocide against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, and warned of the consequences of the military operations that the Israeli occupation forces intend to carry out to storm the city of Rafah.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned of serious catastrophic effects that could lead to widening the scope of conflict and tension in the region.

The Ministry expressed that the Sultanate of Oman calls on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the war and Israel's brutal violations of international law and international norms.
