LONDON, Monday, May 6, 2024 (WAFA) - British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak today said he was deeply concerned over a potential Israeli attack on the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Quoting British media outlets, the British premier said he has repeatedly expressed deep concern regarding a potential Israeli military ground invasion into Rafah given the number of civilians taking shelter there.
He also stressed the importance of Rafah crossing with Egypt for the delivery of humanitarian aid into the Strip.
