BRUSSELS, Monday, May 6, 2024 (WAFA) – Belgian Deputy Prime Minister Petra De Sutter said on Monday that Belguim is working on further sanction against Israel after the latter began military operations in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
In a post she made on X, De Sutter said that the Israeli invasion of Rafah will 'lead to a massacre.'
"The Israeli call for the evacuation of the citizens and refugees of #Rafah, and the announced invasion, will lead to massacre," she said.
"Belgium is working on further sanctions against ISR. I will meet with Palestinian MFA Dr. Malki this noon."
