DOHA, Wednesday, April 3, 2024 (WAFA) - Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez denounced Israel’s “insufficient and unacceptable” explanations about the killing of seven aid workers working for the U.S.-based non-governmental organization, the World Central Kitchen (WCK), in the besieged Gaza Strip.
During a visit to Qatar today, He said the world demands more clarifications regarding the shocking attack.
“That is unacceptable and insufficient, and we are awaiting a much stronger and more detailed clarification, after which we’ll see what action to take.”
The seven killed are from Australia, Poland, the United Kingdom, a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, and Palestine.
The World Central Kitchen said following the killing of the seven humanitarian workers that it is pausing its operations immediately in the region.
