RIYADH, Friday, November 10, 2023 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas and Pakistani Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar discussed today the Israeli military escalation in the Palestinian territories.
During a meeting in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, President Abbas stressed the need to immediately stop the Israeli occupation’s comprehensive aggression and genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and to accelerate the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
He also affirmed the necessity to stop the attacks of terrorist settlers, stressing Palestine’s categorical rejection of the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, or Jerusalem.
President Abbas affirmed that there is no security or military solution for the Gaza Strip, stressing that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the Palestinian state, and it is not possible to accept or deal with the plans of the occupation authorities to separate Gaza from the homeland.
He extended his sincere thanks to the Pakistani Prime Minister and the brotherly people of Pakistan for their support of the rights of the Palestinian people to a sovereign state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and their efforts to support the Palestinian cause in all international forums.
For his part, the Pakistani Prime Minister affirmed that his country stands with Palestine to achieve its legitimate rights, and continues to support it in all international forums.
President Abbas arrived in the Saudi capital to participate in the Arab and Islamic Summits that will discuss tomorrow, Saturday, the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
